As a fourth-year Computer Engineering (B.Eng) Co-op student at McMaster University, my role as CEO of Milita Clothing allows me to leverage my expertise in web development and graphic design to ensure our products not only captivate but also provide a seamless user experience. My technical journey is highlighted by my significant contributions to the 3DQ5 project, where I focused on developing a hardware-based image decompressor. This role was pivotal in enhancing my quality assurance and debugging skills, ensuring the project's success through meticulous attention to detail.
Reflecting on my professional experiences, I've proven my effectiveness in sales, consistently exceeding customer expectations and sales targets at Moores Clothing for Men. This role emphasized the importance of CRM strategies, enabling me to manage customer relationships and optimize business operations efficiently. Additionally, leading projects at Concreation Construction Company, I steered my team to success, achieving high levels of client satisfaction and profitability. This blend of sales expertise, CRM implementation, and project leadership showcases my comprehensive skill set in driving business success.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I pursue personal interests in fitness, cooking, and exploring different cultures through travel. My ambition to discover new perspectives is a testament to my dynamic and adaptable nature.
My Technical Skillset
2 years of experience. I grasped the fundamentals of object-oriented programming with several projects and course-work. I am currently working on a course project with back-end programming in Python.
One year of experience. I have completed some courses in university, including Data Structures and Algorithms, in both C and C++.
One year of experience. I taught myself HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create this website. I am also working on a course project involving front-end and back-end programming.
One year of experience. I have completed a Microprocessor Systems course that had labs and a project completed in Verilog.
Over 3 years of experience. I use GitHub to control all versions of my labs and projects.
Less than 6 months of experience. Currently working on a course project to create a login database to store heart data by using PyQT and QTdesigner for the front-end and back-end aspects of the application.
One year of experience. Completed labs and projects in University courses using this editor.
Over 4 years of experience with Photoshop and Premier Pro. I am currently a marketing associate for McMaster PSA to photograph and record events to create video edits for social media promotion.
My Personal Skillset
Project manager at a Toronto-based construction company. I was responsible for managing an entire home improvement project from start to finish.
Project supervisor at a Toronto-based construction company. I communicated closely with the client to ensure satisfaction. I also mentored 6 apprentices to become permanent assets.
Over 300 hours of volunteer experience in the GTA with several different groups. Previous work experience in large groups also allowed me to master this skill.
I have strong problem-solving and time-management skills. I also prevent obstacles from affecting my work by working around any problem and thinking ahead
